Marolhão is a family-run company in the food industry, specialising in the preparation and processing of cephalopods, especially cooked and frozen octopus. The Marolhão brand offers quality and reliable products. Our journey

In the 1990s, a Portuguese-Spanish partnership was formed after an extensive commercial career in the fishing and food industry, giving rise to the company Algarve-Andaluzia, Lda.

This company specialises in the production and processing of frozen octopus.

It was 2015 when a company attached to Algarve-Andaluzia, Lda, Marolhão - Produtos de pesca, Lda, was inaugurated, equipped with the latest technology and guaranteeing a high quality end product.

In 2019 the two companies merged and took on the name Marolhão - Produtos da pesca, Lda.
